NARBO Secretariat Meeting in Singapore.The NARBO secretariat meeting was held at WaterHub of Singapore in the afternoon on July 1, 2010. The secretariat meeting is held once a year for the purpose of discussing future program and issues concerning NARBO activities. In this time, taking a chance that the NARBO secretariat members gathered to Singapore due to the meeting of the Steering Committee on APWF Regional Knowledge Hubs, we held the secretariat meeting there. |

Appointment of Acting Secretary General Mr. Masaru KUBOTA, Secretary General of NARBO, left his post of Executive Director at Japan Water Agency on January 15, 2010 and he announced his resignation as Secretary General to the secretariat. After his resignation, the secretariat nominated Mr. Katsuaki KAWANO, new Executive Director at Japan Water Agency, as the new Acting Secretary General and the Chairperson approved the appointment of Mr.KAWANO on June 14, according to the NARBO Charter "Article 4.4 Secretariat (3) (b).
