Information on the NARBO 6th Integrated Water Resources Management Training in Da Nang, Viet NamWe are glad to announce that NARBO secretariat will conduct 6th Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) Training. We conduct this Training in Da Nang, Viet Nam with the support of the People's Committees of Da Nang City and Quang Nam Province from 30th November to 7th December, 2009. |

"The 9th IIASA-DPRI Conference on Integrated Disaster Risk Management"The titled international academic conference was organized by Kyoto University, Japan in collaboration with International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), Austria. The major concern of this forum is how to put into practice the Integrated Disaster Risk Management as titled. Actually, the Integrated "Water Resources" Management seems to have same concern. |

Appointment of Acting Secretary General Mr. Yasutaka HAMADA, Secretary General of NARBO, left his post of Executive Director at Japan Water Agency on October 31, 2008 and he announced his resignation as Secretary General to the secretariat. After his resignation, the secretariat nominated Mr. Masaru Kubota, new Executive Director at Japan Water Agency, as the new Acting Secretary General and the Chairperson approved the appointment of Mr. Kubota on November 13, according to the NARBO Charter "Article 4.4 Secretariat (3) (b).
