2. Workshop

The one-day workshop composed of 4 sessions from “Water quality, Flood, Financing and

Benchmarking”for the aim of sharing of information was held in the occasion of 2nd general

meeting on February 15, 2006.


(1) Water quality
Deterioration of water quality is one of the most severe issues in Asia now. In this session, 4 organizations gave their presentations.

Sound finance is one of the most interest topics for water management. After three presentation and discussion, the setting up of newly thematic workshop on “financing” was expressed by Indonesian NARBO.

This activity is the continuous activity of NARBO benchmarking. Conveyers expressed that the drafting benchmarking reporting format will be completed by April 2006 and will launch the training of pear reviewers by June 2006.
