First of all, I would like to thank for all supports and trusts that have been awarded to me as The Chairperson of NARBO for the period 2008 - 2010 during The 3rd General Meeting of NARBO in Surakarta on February 20 - 22, 2008. A great appreciation to Dr. M Basuki Hadimoeljono as NARBO Chairperson 2004-2008 for his chairmanship and to the Secretariat for doing their best conducted various activities and programs.
Up to now, it has been implemented some important activities such as River Basin Organizations (RBOs) Performance Benchmarking and Thematic Workshop as one of NARBO various activities.
At the Third General Meeting, we have proposed The Action Plan 2008 - 2009 based on the achievements and lesson learned through last two-year activities. For further development of NARBO, we still need to keep our commitments to enhance our cooperation by increasing NARBO member's active participation.
