Appointment of the Acting Vice-Chairperson

As Mr. Piyadasa Koralevidana, the former Vice-Chairperson of NARBO and Director General of Mahaweli Authority of Sri Lanka, left his post at MASL on June 30, 2006. NARBO Secretariat respectfully nominated Mr. K.W.Ivan de Silva, the new Director General of Mahaweli Authority, as Mr. Piyadasa's successor to be the Acting Vice-Chairperson of NARBO in accordance with the NARBO Charter Article 4.3 (1) (d) and he got appointed as the Acting Vice-Chairperson by the Chairperson on October 31.
