BBWS Brantas has joined NARBO!

We are very pleased to inform all the NARBO colleagues new member.
The new our colleague is Balai Besar Wilayah Sungai (BBWS) Brantas and is in a category of River Basin Organizations (RBOs). BBWS Brantas was esrablished by Ministry of Public Works, Indonesia (in Indonesian) and expect to improve the knowledge especially for the employee through NARBO activities. 600 staff members manage Brantas river basin by such means as planning and implementation of IWRM including utilization, operation and maintenance of water resources in Brantas river basin.
Brantas river basin which has catchment area about 11,800 km² and its main stream runs about 320 km long. The organization covers 15 regencies / municipalities. The annual average surface water is approximately 12 billions m³, and only 2.6 – 3 billions or 25% of total water surface is available to use every year.
