We are glad to announce that NARBO secretariat will conduct 6th Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) Training.

We conduct this Training in Da Nang, Viet Nam with the support of the People's Committees of Da Nang City and Quang Nam Province from 30th November to 7th December, 2009.

Theme of this Training is "Keys for Success with IWRM at River Basin Level – Spiral/Roadmap in the Vu Gia – Thu Bon (VGTB) and in your basin-".

In this Training, we entrusted International WaterCentre (IWC) in Australia to serve as course director and we could create very useful and practical program by using the IWRM Guidelines which was officially introduced at the 5th World Water Forum in Istanbul, March 2009.

Moreover, we deal with the Vu Gia - Thu Bon river basin as a case study. In this river basin, there are many attractive materials for IWRM such as hydropower, bio-diversity, land use etc.

We have many lectures by specialist from Asian countries and have opportunities of group discussions for enhancing the network among the participants and lecturers.

We believe that participants will be able to extract Key for Success in each river basin and improve IWRM in their river basin.
