Staff from Japan Water Agency visited Vietnam’s Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.
In Vietnam, government reorganization was carried out, and responsibility for water resources management was transferred from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.
Upon our visit, they took time to meet with us despite their busy schedule as a typhoon was approaching.
During the short time available, we exchanged opinions and shared information on topics such as recent NARBO activities, government ministry restructuring and follow-up reports on projects implemented in Vietnam.
We met some of the staff members in person for the first time in over a decade, and we had a very enjoyable time together.
